What PedFluid does

Calculates IV fluid management for paediatric dehydration in primary care: maintenance fluid (Holliday–Segar), deficit correction, shock boluses and oral rehydration volumes. It is a decision-support tool and does not replace clinical judgement.

Scope

Age: over 1 month to 16 years. Neonates are out of scope.
Weight: 0.5–120 kg. Unusual weights for the age must be confirmed.
Source: Paediatric Protocols for Malaysian Hospitals, 5th Edition.
Not covered: adults, neonates, burns, DKA, and electrolyte replacement beyond the cautions shown with each result.

Offline use

The iOS and Android apps work entirely offline. No connection is needed at any point.
